I’m so excited to share a little bit about my journey, creative vision, and the challenges that have shaped me into the photographer I am today. Recently, I had the honor of being interviewed by CanvasRebel, where I opened up about my story, my passion, and what drives me to do what I love every day. Let’s dive in!

1. Turning My Passion Into My Purpose

My love for photography began with a simple desire: to freeze moments in time and capture the beauty of life’s raw, unfiltered emotions. What started as a passion eventually grew into my dream career.

In my interview with CanvasRebel, I reflected on the early days of my business:

“Like many entrepreneurs, I was scared of failing. But I’ve learned to see those fears as opportunities to grow and push myself beyond my comfort zone.”

Taking that leap wasn’t easy, but it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Now, I get to wake up every day and do what I love—helping people tell their stories through my lens.

2. Capturing Authenticity Is My Superpower

For me, photography is about so much more than just snapping pictures. It’s about capturing the essence of a person, their personality, and their story. Whether I’m photographing a professional headshot, a family portrait, or a branding session, my goal is always the same: to create images that truly reflect who my clients are.

As I shared in the interview:

“I want every photo I take to resonate on a deeper level. It’s not just about the technical aspects; it’s about creating a connection and making people feel seen and celebrated.”

That’s why I take the time to get to know my clients. When you step in front of my camera, I want you to feel confident, comfortable, and authentically YOU.

3. The Challenges That Made Me Stronger

Building a photography business has been an incredible journey, but it hasn’t been without its challenges. Balancing the creative and business sides of photography is tough, and staying motivated during the hard times takes effort.

In the interview, I shared one of the lessons I’ve learned along the way:

“It’s so important to surround yourself with a supportive community. Whether it’s fellow creatives, mentors, or clients who believe in you, having that network makes all the difference.”

Over time, I’ve found my rhythm and learned to embrace every challenge as an opportunity to grow. It’s been an amazing experience, and I’m so grateful for the people who have supported me on this journey.
